The East Greenwich Soccer Association provides a recreational soccer league for children in age groups under 6 (U6) to under 19 (U19) years old.
The program is designed to encourage, promote and teach the skills of the game of soccer in a fun and supportive environment. Soccer offers a child the opportunity to participate in a team sport, enhancing physical fitness and self confidence, while learning good sportsmanship, the benefits of team play and important soccer skills.
The recreational season schedule is divided into two sessions:
- Fall (Sept - Nov), outdoors in EG (U6 - U19)
- Spring (Apr - Jun), outdoors in EG (U6 - U8)
Tryouts are not required for the recreational program. New players are encouraged to join the league to find out what all the fun is about! All you need do is register your child for each session during the session registration period (registration opens in the Spring for the Fall session, and in the Fall for the Spring session). Links to on-line registration will be provided below during the registration period.
