East Greenwich Soccer Association(EGSA) is a member of Soccer Rhode Island(SRI) and is affiliated with the United States Youth Soccer Association(USYS.)
EGSA is a volunteer run organization which provides recreational and competitive soccer programs and activities to over 900 youth under the age of 19 in East Greenwich and the surrounding area’s. EGSA also offers clinics and training for kids and adults interested in Coaching and Refereeing.

EGSA Competitive Soccer Tryouts
Please print tryout form and bring to Fun Day or to tryouts:
LOCATION: East Greenwich High School
DATES: Saturday's September 13th and September 20th 2008
ATTENDENCE: Attendance at both tryout dates is Mandatory.

TIMES:
U14 Boys and Girls 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM
U12 Boys and Girls 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
U10 Boys and Girls 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
U8 Boys and Girls 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

BRING: Soccer ball, Water bottle, Shin guards, Cleats
FEE: $10 per player
AGE GROUPS: Players must tryout out in their eligible age group as
defined below. There is no "grade option" to play up in competitive
soccer.

Fall 2008 Soccer Programs:
Under 6 through Under 15 Recreational programs are offered this fall for
children born between August 1, 1993 and July 31, 2004.

U6 is coed, and all other divisions are divided into boys and girls teams (though girls
may request to be placed on a boys team.)

Fall Recreational Registration is open now through June 30th, without a late fee. After June 30th,
there is a late fee, and team placement may be limited, in order to give
the league time to form teams and order equipment.

The season begins on September 6th, 2008.

Under 12 and Under 14 Competitive programs may be offered this fall
also. Registration for Competitive teams will not open until August.
Fall Competitive teams are usually a continuation of Spring Competitive
teams.

Fall is the main Recreational soccer season in Rhode Island,
which is why there are limited options for Fall Competitive. Please
contact your current spring coach to ask if they may enter a Fall
Competitive team.

The Recreational soccer program is the foundation from which our soccer
program begins. Because it is so important for the development of all of
our players, EGSA encourages all players who participate on a fall
Competitive team, to also register and play on a fall Recreational
soccer team in the fall season.
