No Refunds. No prorating for missed sessions.
In keeping with EGSA's focus on fundamental player development, our winter programming is centered around individual foot skills, technical proficiency with the soccer ball, building player confidence, and soccer IQ. This philosophy is important for all youth soccer players, at both the house/recreational and competitive levels. EGSA Winter Training is run by professional coaches from our partner, Challenger Sports, so you can be sure that your players are receiving top notch instruction from highly-skilled, licensed trainers.
This year our resident Challenger trainers are in full-force and we look forward to a fantastic and dynamic winter with, Coach Ben and Coach Connor!
Players will be, roughly, divided into age groups each week by the professional Challenger trainers to allow for focused, age-appropriate instruction. If your House League player is 11 or older, we are allowing them to attend the travel league sessions for the '24-'25 season.
Please note these are coed clinics. Players need cleats, shin guards, water, and a ball.
Winter Training Location:
1610 Davisville Rd. North Kingstown
Wednesday clinics are in the main building, Field #2.
Thursday clinics are in the satellite building, Field #5.
Our house league clinics are all about having fun while improving soccer skills. We estimate that in the first 35 minutes the kids touch the ball over 500 times. They learn to use all of the surfaces of the foot and this improves confidence on the ball. Players are separated into groups based on several factors such as age, maturity, and ability. Clinics finish with small sided games so the players can have fun and try out their new moves!
If your House League player is 11 or older, we are allowing them to attend the travel league sessions for the '24-'25 season.
Please contact administrator@egsasoccer.com for a discount code if you want your player to attend both House League sessions.
House League Wednesdays 6:00-7:00 pm
House League Thursdays 5:00-6:00 pm
For our travel team players, EGSA runs a technical training program that is designed to challenge and improve every player's confidence, fitness, and decision-making with a soccer ball. The club strongly feels that this program is consistent with our core principles and player development philosophy. One of the tenets of that philosophy is that players should augment their soccer playing with other sports to prevent sports specialization injuries. Many of our players also enjoy basketball, hockey, skiing, dance, and gymnastics over the winter months, and this program allows them to better balance soccer with those activities. Travel players are provided two opportunities per week.
Please register for only one session but your player may attend both weekly sessions!
